The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association has issued its first guidelines on adult stroke rehabilitation calling for intensive, multidisciplinary treatment.
“Maximizing Healthy Living Post Brain Injury,” a seminar for survivors of brain injury, family and caregivers. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 16, from 3 to 7:30 p.m. at HealthSouth Colorado Springs, located at 325 Parkside Drive.
HealthSouth Colorado Springs will offer a PWR! UP class every Thursday beginning March 26 from 3:30- 4:30 p.m. This class will also be open to individuals with Huntington’s Disease.
On Thursday, March 19, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Colorado Springs will team up with the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado to present “Tools for Navigating Recovery,” a workshop for survivors of brain injury, family and caregivers.
